Why we built this
Finding a contractor is easy. Understanding whether a name, license, legal entity, permit history, and claimed project belong together is much harder. This catalog keeps those distinctions visible and links back to the source.
What is in the catalog
The current catalog contains 60 published company records. We record what a company says it does, check selected public registers, and connect published project addresses to Department of Buildings records by building identifier where possible.
What we are not
We are not a contractor, broker, lead seller, review platform, or government agency. No company pays to be listed, ranked, edited, or removed. A record is not a recommendation and absence from the catalog is not a negative finding.
